• This deed contributes to the Slayer of the North Downs meta-deed.Shades may be found throughout the Fields of Fornost, generally near cairns and ruins. Larger concentrations of shades may be found at:

• Amon Amrûn. ^{[10.3S, 52.6W]}
• An unnamed ruin. ^{[11.7S, 58.4W]}
• Tham Lorn. ^{[11.7S, 59.5W]}

Note: There are a total of 30 spawns if you defeat the shades at Tham Lorn, The "unnamed ruin", the pool south east of Tham Lorn (literally right next to Tham Lorn), and the spire east of the pool.
