A Quest Failer is an NPC who will cause a quest to fail. The most well-known of these are Nosey Hobbits in The Shire and Yondershire who interfere with the Quick Post quests. Other Quest Failers are Guards and Hungry Hobbits.
Note
Quest-failer NPCs will show up on the mini-map as an eye icon, allowing the player to see their location and attempt to avoid them. If a player gets too close to a Quest-failer and is detected, the quest will fail.
