Quest Text

Scholars believe that careful study of spider glands will provide insight into how the natural process of spinning webs takes place. 'Our task requires we obtain eight pairs of undamaged glands to assist in the scholars' research.' Background You learned that the scholars in Umbar City are attempting to discern how the spiders can create the silk used to construct their webs. They want to collect spider glands to further their understanding. Objective 1 Collect spider glands (0/16) Collect spider glands from the spiders in the nest on the western edge of the desert north of the expedition camp. When you've collected sixteen of the glands, return the glands to Khânai. Khânai: 'You will find the spider's brood in the nest on the edge of the desert north of the expedition. Kill the spiders and collect the glands behind the spinnerets where they release their webs.' Collected spider glands (16/16) Objective 2 Deliver the spider glands to Khanai at the hunter's expedition 16 Spider's Silk Gland Khânai instructed you to obtain sixteen glands from the spiders in their camp in the eastern stretch of the Cape of Umbar, and you have completed this task.
