Mushrooms can be found at many locations throughout the Beorning-lands north of the Beorninghús. Picking up a mushroom will trigger one of the following events: An Angry Vale Badger will appear and attack, or a couple non-hostile snakes will appear and slither away. Easter Egg: The badgers, mushrooms and snakes appear to be a reference to this music video.

Bestowal Dialogue 'Gírta has tasked me with collecting wild mushrooms from the Beorning-lands. They grow in the small groves throughout the vale, but now that I give it a little more thought, I realize that these mushrooms can be found quite far from the Beorninghús! I would not want to encounter a warg, or worse! [Beornings: Brother/Sister,] Perhaps you could help me collect some of the mushrooms that are further afield?' Background Sterkist has been tasked with collecting mushrooms, only to realize that the mushrooms he seeks might lead him a little further astray than he would like. Objective 1 Collect mushrooms (0/8) Mushrooms can be found north of the Beorninghús. You should gather mushrooms for Sterkist. Collected mushrooms (8/8) That badger is not very happy about you taking that mushroom! Angry Vale Badger says, "Yark!" Oh no, snakes! Objective 2 Bring the mushrooms to Sterkist Sterkist can be found at the Beorninghús. You should bring the mushrooms to Sterkist. Sterkist: 'Great work! This should be enough mushrooms for the stew that Gírta is preparing. I shall bring the mushrooms to her. You have been most helpful!'
