Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'In the shadow of Dol Guldur, the small outpost known as Helethir has been established by the Golden Host. A dear friend of mine, Danfennas, has begun to investigate the ashen colour of the trees within the Ashenslades, and I wish for you to speak with him. 'Will you travel to Helethir and seek out and assist Danfennas in learning what malady has affected the trees in the area? Whatever blight has fallen upon the Ashenslades, it cannot be of a natural order. 'You can reach Helethir by travelling the path north and east of here.' Background To the south of Dol Goldur, Danfennas seeks out information regarding the pale quality of the trees around the Ashenslades. He has joined several others in Helethir, a small camp to the south of Dol Guldur, to investigate the area. Objective 1 Talk to Danfennas at Helethir Danfennas is at Helethir, north-east of Mithechad. Perindúr has asked you to speak with his friend Danfennas regarding the plague upon the trees of the Ashenslades. Perindúr: 'Helethir lies to the north-east. Go there at once, <name>.' Danfennas: 'I had hoped that Perindúr would be able to send someone to help. Our fear is that the sorcerers of Sâd Doldúr are the cause of the blight that is gripping the trees of the Ashenslades.'
