Walkthrough & Notes

As soon as the quest starts it may be helpful to knock off some grappling hooks and ladders to relieve some of the mob density and make it easier for allies to target the shamans. Only knock off ladders/hooks until the first shaman comes over the wall; then ignore them for the rest of the quest Keep a constant lookout for the shamans as it is better to kill them before they get a chance to set down their totems. If a totem is placed, immediately disable it to avoid losing merit. Use Commands on the center Commander as his Soldiers will cover both sides. Background A powerful White Hand defiler, Dagri, has ordered his followers to place vile totems atop the wall. These totems are meant to bring destruction and cause widespread damage to the defenders still standing on the wall. Objective Destroy White-hand Totems or Defilers carrying totems (0/18) Do not allow the totems to finish spewing their vileness (0/2) The enemy has brought totems of destruction to Helm's Deep. They must be stopped before they are able to cause destruction to all upon the wall. Merit Rating This quest starts with Full Merit Rating. Major Merit Loss White-hand Totem planted on the wall Minor Merit Loss White-hand Totem spews its foul energy
