Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'You must have dealt with drakes before. I know of no Dunlending who has stood before them and lived to tell the tale. You impress me. 'Our champion is next. A Dunlending because he decided he wanted to be one and none of us dared to deny him...the giant terror of the hills. 'I hope you have brought your friends. This battle will not be easy.' Background The Pit in the Starkmoor serves as a proving ground for conscripts. Those strong enough to withstand it join the army in Wulf's Cleft; those too weak are sent to dig in the mines. Objective 1 Defeat the giant Gethin Do not leave the Culling Pit or become defeated The banner is on the arena floor at Avardin in the Starkmoor. Use the banner to summon forth your first opponents, then defeat them. Geralht says, "Your last battles were nothing compared to what you have just unleashed." Geralht says, "He comes... and you had best ready yourselves. It is unlikely that you will survive. Gethin says, "Ho, ho!" Gethin says, "I am strong... and you are mash!" Objective 2 Talk to Geralht at the Culling Pit in Avardin Do not leave the Culling Pit or become defeated Geralht is at the Culling Pit in Avardin. Geralht will be pleased to discuss your victory. Geralht says, "Very exciting battle! I am beginning to like you strangers." Geralht: 'Perhaps the giant was not as great as he claimed....'
