You must battle a party of two Elite Dunlending Archers, two Elite Dunlending Warriors, and two Elite Dunlending Captains. You call forth the enemy party by touching the Banner of the Dunlendings. Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'So, you have come to prove yourself? 'The first challenge that you will face is a party of Dunlendings who have been training together for years. They are among our finest warriors. 'I hope that you have brought your friends. This battle will not be easy.' Background The Pit in the Starkmoor serves as a proving ground for conscripts. Those strong enough to withstand it join the army in Wulf's Cleft; those too weak are sent to dig in the mines. Objective 1 Defeat the Dunlending Battle-squad Do not leave the Culling Pit The banner is on the arena floor at Avardin in the Starkmoor. Use the banner to summon forth your first opponents, then defeat them. Geralht says, "Ha! A bold move." Geralht says, "Strangers against the Men of Dunland...This should prove interesting." Elite Dunlending Captain says, "You cannot win, Duvódiad! This is our turf." Elite Dunlending Captain says, "The people of Dunland are strong." Objective 2 Talk to Geralht at the Culling Pit in Avardin Do not leave the Culling Pit or become defeated. Geralht is at the Culling Pit in Avardin. Geralht will be pleased to discuss your victory. Geralht says, "I am...quite surprised by this turn of events. But the fight was exciting -- I will give you that." Geralht: 'You have done well, but that is only the first of your trials.'
