Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'I see that your great skills have advanced beyond anything I could possibly have to teach you. There is another Minstrel, one of great valour, whom I think might be of more use to you. His name is Pada, and he has traveled to a very dark place to bring hope and heart to some foolhardy dwarves who wish to reclaim a forsaken kingdom. 'Perhaps you have heard of the place: it is called Moria. Fell rumours follow that black name. I heard that Pada traveled deep within, into a Foundations of Stone, and stands there to bring light to the darkness that would make lesser folk cower and quail. 'I know a great hope-bringer when I see one, and Pada is just such a one...and so are you, for that matter. If you are willing to travel to dark places, seek out the halfling Minstrel in the Foundations of Stone. He will be more helpful than I.' Background You have been instructed to find Pada in the Foundations of Stone in Moria in order to further your prowess as a Minstrel. Objective 1 Talk to Pada Pada has traveled to Moria to lend his aid to the dwarf-expedition that has gone to excavate the mines. Pada is a very advanced Minstrel of great renown, and you should call on him to learn what he has to teach as you bring your skills to a peak. Pada: 'Why hullo there! If you are looking for Pada, you have found him! So stand up straight and let me have a look at you, <race>. 'What have we here? You certainly have a sincere look to you, and a sort of kindness in your expression. Yet you are worn with travel and toil, and sadness too. I think I know why you are here. 'Come, let us talk for a while. I can see that you are also a Minstrel of great skill, nay, not by your instrument, but by the very look of you! Did you know that Minstrels shine with a subtle radiance? Yet we bow under the heavy burden we carry, for we give our hearts that others may endure.'
