Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue This collar was taken from a slain hound in the Heathfells. Crafted of heavy leather, studded with crude iron, it is clearly of Dunlending-make. The Dunlending Hound-masters leash their beasts upon such collars, and if these dogs wear them, then their master cannot be far away. Perhaps you can defeat him and scatter his hounds. Background You found a heavy, studded collar upon a slain Dunlending war-hound. If the beasts still wear collars as they roam these hills, then their master must be somewhere nearby. Objective 1 Defeat the Hound-master The Dunlending Hound-master has set camp somewhere in the Heathfells. You should find the Dunlending Hound-master and defeat him and his hounds. You have defeated the Hound-master Objective 2 Talk to Cadfrith Captain Cadfrith is at the encampment in north-west Heathfells. You should inform Captain Cadfrith of the Dunlending Hound-master's defeat. Cadfrith: 'So, one of the Dunlending barbarinas crept behind our lines to guide the hounds against us? 'Well done discovering his hiding place and dealing with him. That should scatter his packs for good.'
