Walkthrough & Notes

Goblin-town Stacks of bound posts can be found in the Goblin Tunnels, in the rectangular room west of the Deep Fires. That is, the third large rectangular room from the bottom according to the below map. From the Slave pens where you received the quest, exit the slave pens to go back to the tunnels in the main Goblin-town cave. Follow these due west, then go north (through a wall at one point). Follow this tunnel until it curves west into a hole in the ground. Drop through this and then travel a short distance west and you should be in a large room with stacks of pikes (sharp posts). To get back, go west and turn south when you can't go further west. Go through another wall, and you're back in the main tunnels.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'I believe that we can use the information Glorwen has provided us to cause dissent among the goblins and Orcs. If we can sow the seed of rage within the goblins and Orcs to fall upon one another. 'To accomplish this, we will need to do something truly dangerous. I need you to bring me a sharp post. 'When I was brought here, I remember passing many lashed and bound posts stacked together in the tunnels above. Cut one of the posts free and bring it to me.' Background 'Not content to remain idle in his cell, the Elf Aeglas has a plan to turn the tables against the goblins of Goblin-town. Objective 1 Collect a sharp post from the tunnels above the Goblin-town prison Stacks of bound posts lie in the main tunnels of Goblin-town. Aeglas believes that he can turn the Orcs and goblins against one another, but his plan requires that you collect a sharp post for him. Aeglas: 'Bring me one of the sharp posts from the lashed piles in the tunnels above.' Objective 2 Bring the sharpened post to Aeglas in his cell in the Goblin-town prison Stacks of bound posts lie in the main tunnels of Goblin-town. Aeglas believes that he can turn the Orcs and goblins against one another, but his plan requires that you collect a sharp post for him. Aeglas: 'This will do just fine. Give me one moment....'
