Walkthrough & Notes

Climb the stairs in the south of Orodir to reach the Gates of Naerband encampment. [63.7S, 19.5E] The encampment is guarded by Ghâsh-hai Orcs and has 100 Shadow of Mordor. Beware: approaching a banner spot will cause nearby Orcs to attack, even if they are not in aggro range. Watch out for Ghâsh-hai Leaders. Their Combat Tactics Aura increases the Melee damage and Ranged and Tactical Defence of all nearby Orcs by 50%, making groups far more dangerous. There is a Rare Mordor Chest on the top level, near some rubble against the back wall. [64.3S, 19.4E] It is possible to drop down from the top of the structure into Orodir without suffering incapacitation by misadventure. "This looks like a good location to plant a banner of Gondor."
