Bestowal Dialogue

I have asked our friends to give me requests that can be fulfilled by willing adventurers such as you. Some, such as Samwise Gamgee, are reluctant to make any such requests; others, like Peregrin Took, are entirely too eager to send adventurers out into danger!

'My task for you today is a request from Frodo Baggins. He spoke to me of the plight of the Nurnhoth captives in Gorgoroth; it seems he knows something of the cruelty with which the Orcs treat their prisoners.

'If you can enter the prison of Naerband, in Talath Úrui, and free some of the Nurnhoth captives held within, I know Frodo will be pleased. I will also have a reward for you if you are able to see it done.'

Background

Aster Hayward conveyed a request to you from Frodo Baggins, who wishes to free some of the Nurnhoth enslaved by the forces of Mordor.

Objective 1

  • Free Nurnhoth captives within Naerband (0/4)

Nurnhoth captives can be found within the fortress of Naerband, in southern Talath Úrui.

Aster Hayward: 'If you can enter the prison of Naerband, in Talath Úrui, and free some of the Nurnhoth captives held within, I know Frodo will be pleased. I will also have a reward for you if you are able to see it done.'
Freed Nurnhoth captives (4/4)
Nurnhoth Captive says, "I must... leave this place..."
Nurnhoth Captive says, "Is it... is it safe?"
Nurnhoth Captive says, "I am free? After so long?"
Nurnhoth Captive says, "Can it be? I can leave?"
Nurnhoth Captive says, "It is safe... to go...?"
Nurnhoth Captive says, "Stranger, you have... saved me..."
Nurnhoth Captive says, "Oh... thank you... stranger..."

Objective 2

Aster Hayward is in Tham Periain.

Aster Hayward: 'Thank you for relieving the prison-wardens of Naerband of some of their captives, <name>! I will tell Frodo this happy news straight-away!
'Here is your reward. Come back tomorrow and I should have another request with which you can help.'
