Bestowal Dialogue Madern lowers her voice as if to share a secret. 'For generations, the people of Pinnath Gelin have whispered of a creature that lives in Nen Eilen. They say it was once a fish like any other, but it feasted upon something unnatural, something foul, then it in turn became something unnatural, something foul. It lurks through these blessed waters, waiting for its time to strike. 'Unless of course, a bold angler such as yourself plucks it from the depths. 'There is a scarecrow north of here along the lakeshore towards Ost Arndír. There have been sightings of the beast in the water. Catch it, but be prepared to defend yourself. 'Why a scarecrow you ask? I ran out of banners.' Background You have happened upon a farmer who is offering prizes for completing fishing challenges. Objective 1 Catch the legendary fish Madern has challenged you to catch a beast of a fish along the north-western banks of Pinnath Gelin near a scarecrow. Catch the mysterious fish. Caught the legendary fish? It's odd looking but by no means 'legendary' Objective 2 Talk to Madern You have caught an impressive fish. Talk to Madern on the road between the farm, Wetcroft, and the western bank of Nen Eilen. Madern: You show her the strange fish you caught. She takes a minute to study it, occasionally poking it with the back end of a spatula she has lying around. 'It's weird,' she pronounces. 'It's not the legendary fish, but it's big enough and funny to look at. That's worth a prize I think.' She smiles and hands you your winnings. 'Congratulations my friend. You've passed all the trials I have to offer Go forth and spread the joy of fishing to every corner of Middle-earth -- the safe corners of Middle-earth. I'm not telling you to go fishing in Mordor!'
