The quest timer is 10-minutes, and typically presents more of a challenge than the occasional hostile cave-claw encountered in the instance "Rubble" barricades block some passageways, usually near injured miners. These must be attacked and destroyed, in order to progress. After all powder kegs are defused and miners freed, the character must then make their way back to the entrance (east side). The last freed miner continues to have a quest ring, which appears on the radar, and may be confused with the quest ring for the scout, but this is a minor distraction, since that miner is also headed to the entrance. As usual, judicious use of keys can help speed up progress in the mission: "select nearest/next/previous object" can help speed up selection of objects (such as powder kegs) in range, and "select nearest/next/previous NPC" can help target injured miners. Another micro-optimization, to save a little time, is to use a nearby Powder Keg, uninterrupted, while a cave-claw is burrowed. After completing your objectives, there is a limited time (2 minutes) before you will be automatically ejected from the instance. You need to find and open the "Mission Reward" chest before this happens. Defeating more enemies does not reset the timer!

Your mission is to rescue miners from the partially collapsed cave of Mesem-gairu.  Twist: Timed! Background You have been tasked with rescuing miners from the partially collapsed cave of Mesem-gairu. Objective 1 Rescue the miners (0/8) Defuse powder kegs (0/12) Exit the cavern after rescuing the miners and defusing the powder kegs! Rescue the miners and defuse the power kegs before the cave collapses completely Freed Miner : 'The blasted tunnel was sabotaged!' Freed Miner : 'Goblins must have planted those powder kegs!' Freed Miner : 'A timely rescue!' Freed Miner : 'I thank you!' (on failure): THE MINE IS COLLAPSING! (on success): MISSION COMPLETE! Objective 2 Talk to Ausma Speak to Ausma for your reward! Dwarf Scout: 'We thank you for the rescue. One minute, we were mining crystals, and the next, the cavern shook and starting collapsing all around us.
