Walkthrough & Notes

Ice Grims and Fierce Cold Drakes inhabit the instance, with the typical attacks for those creature types.
There are campfires available throughout the instance, to dispel the Penetrating Cold debuff (from the grims), if desired.

The journal is at the extreme south end of the map, and, at first glance, the map looks like simple north-to-south concourse. But there are many side passages, alleys, cul-de-sacs, etc. and many of the quest items (weathered ice pick) are located in those areas. It pays to do a thorough sweep, from side to side, while moving south, along perhaps with liberal use of select nearest/next/previous keys/combos, to find any quest items that may be hidden from view. Coordinates

After completing your objectives, there is a limited time (2 minutes) before you will be automatically ejected from the instance. You need to find and open the "Mission Reward" chest before this happens. Defeating more enemies does not reset the timer!

Your mission is to investigate these areas and retrieve any lost equipment.

You have been tasked with searching for signs of a dwarf-presence in the distant snowfields.

Investigate dwarf-made tools left in the snow.

Find written evidence of the previous dwarves.

The mission is complete!
