- Find a good location to spy on the Orcs
Find a good location to spy on the Orcs.
- Hetbrúda says, "Follow me."
- A large group of Orcs gathers close to here!
- A group of Orcs led by Gazathrug has converged with a group of hobgoblins
- Hetbrúda says, "Let us wait here and see what transpires between the Orcs and hobgoblins."
Objective 3
- Listen to the Orc factions
Listen to the Orc factions.
- Captain Gazathrug says, "This is the Upper Reaches, the domain of Gorgar the Ruthless!"
- Captain Gazathrug says, "I, Captain Gazathrug, speak for the great Orc! The blood of Azog runs through Gorgar's veins!"
- Captain Gazathrug says, "What is it you Mountain-dwelling filth want?! Speak!"
- Hobgoblin Frost-lord says, "I speak for the Frost-horde."
- Hobgoblin Frost-lord says, "Hrímil has declared Gundabad her new home."
- Hobgoblin Frost-lord says, "If Gorgar is out of favour with the Herald of Winter, then so are all who follow Gorgar."
- Hobgoblin Frost-lord says, "You are trespassing."
- Captain Gazathrug says, "Enough! You should leave, now. Or there will be blood, your blood, spilled by my blade!"
- Hobgoblin Frost-lord says, "No."
- Captain Gazathrug says, "Attack!"
- Captain Gazathrug says, "You let the Dragon control you!"
- Hobgoblin Frost-lord says, "You are no longer useful to the Frost-horde!"
- Gundabad Warrior says, "Ugh!"
- Gundabad Warrior says, "Argh!"
- Captain Gazathrug says, "Gah!"
- Now is the time to take on the last few remaining hobgoblins!
- Hetbrúda says, "Now we strike!"

- Defeat the remaining hobgoblins
Defeat the remaining hobgoblins.
- Hetbrúda says, "Khazâd ai-mênu!"
- Gazathrug, still breathing, beckons you closer
- Captain Gazathrug says, "<race>. A moment."
Objective 5
Talk to Gazathrug.
- Captain Gazathrug: 'Come closer, <race>.
- 'I should've died by those hobgoblins. Your interference was warranted, however. The hobgoblins would have reported back of my loss and too soon would these halls of Vok-kasol fall to the Frost-horde. You made sure they didn't make it, and for that I commend you.
- 'Now, I must die with honour and for Gorgar. I can't die slowly upon this stone. No, I must be killed in combat. Grant me this last wish, <race>.'
Objective 6
Defeat Gazathrug.
- Gazathrug picks himself up, sword in hand, to die in battle
- Gazathrug falls in combat
- Hetbrúda: 'Come, <name>, let us continue to the Steepset. While at Imrêkh-guthlu I overhead that dwarves had secured Zidir-nesad.'
