Bestowal dialogue

'You are heading to Limlók, yes? I will accompany you. It would seem the story I seek follows the same path. Might we stop at the Carrock on our way? I would very much like to see for myself. There is some Rohirric history there as well, if you can believe it.'

Background

History, etched in the stones of time, can be looked at from many views and read with just as many interpretations.

Objective 1

The Carrock can be found in the Beorninglands.

You should climb to the top of the Carrock and meet Léothred there.

Léothred says, "What a view! It seems the mountain fog is too thick to see Erebor today."

Objective 2

  • Look out from atop the Carrock

The Carrock can be found in the Beorninglands.

You should look out from the top of the Carrock.

You can imagine Fram, uncertain in his decision to bring his people north

Objective 3

Léothred can be found at the Carrock.

You should talk to Léothred.

Léothred: 'For a time the folklore of the Ai-thúda held that it was Fram, not the Dwarf-king Durin, who first beheld the Lonely Mountain, though no tale among Durin's Folk mentions him. There may be some truth in this claim. I still wonder, which story is true? I fear the story of Fram may have been embellished in places over the years.'

Objective 4

Léothred can be found at Limlók in the Floodfells.

You should travel to Limlók.

Objective 5

Léothred can be found at Limlók in the Floodfells.

You should travel to Limlók.

Léothred: 'This seems a good enough place to rest for a bit.'
