Bestowal Dialogue

'I fear I have nothing more to offer. The map you hold is likely flawed. The tale of the Fool King's Folly is little more than a children's fable, meant to frighten them from the night or keep folk from venturing into Adagím. It has served its purpose. No expedition has ever sought the fabled citadel's location.'

Background

The difference in the maps provided by the scholars of Zajâna and the Temámir are pronounced. The doorward leader believes that the map provided by Bêtam may be a fraud, or errant. You should consult with your al lies from the north, Rhadrog and Faeron.

Objective 1

Valukhâri is dismissive that the tale is nothing more than a child's fable spun for a new crowd and age. Something does not sit right with you. Take the map to your allies Rhadrog and Faeron, recently arrived here in Zajâna and gather their opinions.

Rhadrog: You show the map to Rhadrog and recount the tale of the Fool King.
'You were wise to bring this here, <name>. The dwarves are long-lived and masters of stone, unless, of course, they are driven by greed and seek to hoard a treasure. Ask Faeron what his counsel may be.'
Rhadrog asks you to speak with Faeron

Objective 2

Rhadrog believes the tale may have merit and wants you to share the story and map with Faeron at the fountain square in Zajâna.

Faeron: 'Had the Temámir not believed in what their map suggests, they would have long ago established an outpost. But they are wary. Men, however, are prideful and secretive, prone to hiding uncomfortable truths. I side with Rhadrog—tell him I believe we must inform Viznak and compel him to learn more.'
Faeron agrees and suggests you ask Rhadrog what next to do

Objective 3

Faeron and Rhadrog agree there is a reason to investigate further. Faeron suggested you ask Rhadrog how to proceed.

Rhadrog: 'Viznak's insight—or his paranoia—may yet serve us. At the very least, you can tell him the tale of the King's Folly and see if he can establish the connexion between the blight we face and that which claimed a generation.'
