Éowyn, at the completion of the Edoras quests ( Edoras: Lady Éowyn's Charge), still shows the "quest in progress" as "Volume III, Book 12, Chapter 1: Message for Harrowdale

you can follow that quest to Harrowdale or one of the other vector quests to other areas (Middlemead, Eastfold and Broadacres).

(pending) Note: It is possible to catch The Old River-king after completing The Last Cast. To do so, continue fishing from the dock; your successful fishing attempts (from the dock) will get the message "You cannot take that" until you catch him.

You have caught the Old River King! Dúdrad will be thrilled.

NOTE: Edoras quests must be completed before the Evacuation of Edoras takes place.

Dúdrad's fishing area can be found where the river meets the road, just outside of the south-west wall of Edoras.

You should gift your catch to Dúdrad.

Dúdrad: 'You did it, <name>! You caught him! I will mount him on a plaque with your name engraved upon it, and it will be a treasure in Edoras.

'A king he is. Will you look at the size of him? My arms tremble under his weight!

'This is a great gift from a great fisherman. You have lifted the gloom from my heart, <name>!'
