There is not an "easy" way to reach the burial mound, maybe riding from Gabilshathûr and east of Maethad would be less risky than riding through Nan Gurth?

Bestowal dialogue Golodir listens to your account of Narmeleth's plan, and nods. 'I took the broken hilt of Dúnachar with me when I buried my dear Lorniel, and by her grave it lies still. After her death we carried her as far as we dared under the cover of darkness; she rests atop a hill on the northern slopes of Gorothlad. 'If the blade of Dúnachar will aid you in your fight against Mordirith, I give you my leave to retrieve it.' Background Narmeleth believes that baring the shattered hilt of Dúnachar before Mordirith will weaken the False King's will. Objective 1 Retrieve the broken hilt of Dúnachar Lorniel's grave is on the northern slopes of Gorothlad, south of Nan Gurth in Angmar. Golodir has given you the location of Dúnachar and has given you permission to retrieve it. Objective 2 Bring the hilt to Golodir Golodir is at Gath Forthnír in the northern reaches of Angmar. You should return to Golodir with the broken hilt of Dúnachar. Golodir: 'I trust the hilt was not too difficult to find?'
