Walkthrough & Notes

Amon Dîn is the easternmost beacon in Taur Drúadan, along the road west from the War-stead of the Rohirrim [48.4S, 24.1W] Eilenach is the central beacon in Taur Drúadan, located directly south of the War-stead of the Rohirrim. [46.8S, 27.1W] At the top of each beacon, you will find some Orcs which will advance the quest. Note that the occasional non-Orc landscape spawn also counts (observed at Amon Dîn).

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'The men I command need to rest if we are to be battle-ready when Minas Tirith is within our sights. I am in need of someone to scout the nearby beacons of Gondor. It is imperative that the Enemy not know our location or plans.' Background Dúnhere believes the Enemy many be using the beacons to scout for Rohirrim and asks of you to patrol the beacons for the safety of the riders. Objective 1 Defeat foes atop Eilenach (0/4) Defeat foes atop Amon Dîn (0/4) The beacons of Amon Dîn and Eilenach can be found in Taur Drúadan. You should defeat any enemies gathered at these beacons. Defeated foe (4/4) Defeated foe (4/4) Objective 2 Speak with Dúnhere Dúnhere can be found in the War-stead of the Helmingas. You should speak with Dúnhere. Dúnhere: 'You are most loyal, <class>. I admire your helpfulness and proficiency.'
