Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'Something important has transpired, and I need a message taken to our outpost in the Dourstocks as quickly as possible, <name>. 'Are you willing to act as our courier in this matter? I will warn you that I need it run by a very specific route -- one that may be watched by the Enemy, who may attempt to intercept you. It is very important that you fight your way through any obstacles they offer, and get there in time. There are a series of milestones along the road between here and the ruined village in the Dourstocks, pass each of these as you travel there. 'When you arrive, turn the message over to Laeginn -- he will know what to do with it.' Background Lomdognir has asked you to take a vital message to one of his compatriots in the Dourstocks. Objective 1 Head for the first milestone Get the message to Laeginn quickly! The first milestone is along the road west of Emyn Lûm. Lomdognir laid out a specific route he needs you to take with the message you are carrying. Lomdognir: 'Do not misunderstand me, <name>, I expect you to face dangers along the way -- you may even find yourself walking into a trap -- but you must win through regardless. Your role to play in this battle isnot less than mine or any other's as we face this darkness. 'Now be off, quickly!' First milestone reached Objective 2 Head for the second milestone Get the message to Laeginn quickly! The second milestone lies further along the road west of Emyn Lûm. Lomdognir laid out a specific route he needs you to take with the message you are carrying. Second milestone reached Objective 3 Head for the third milestone Get the message to Laeginn quickly! The third milestone lies along the road where it turns north towards the abandoned village in Dourstocks. Lomdognir laid out a specific route he needs you to take with the message you are carrying. Third milestone reached Objective 4 Talk to Laeginn at the Haunted Inn Get the message to Laeginn quickly! Laeginn is stationed in the inn at Audaghaim in the Dourstocks. Lomdognir has instructed you to hand the message over to the Elf Laeginn. Laeginn: 'What is this? A message from Ost Galadh? I shall see to it right away. 'I am glad to see that you made it here swiftly and unharmed. Give Lomdognir my regards and tell him I have matters well in hand here.'
