Bestowal Dialogue 'It gets so boring down here. These other guards aren't the best conversationalists, you know. I wonder, would you be able to obtain a book for me?' She leans in close, as though to tell you a secret. 'There's a specific one I'm after. "A Smouldering Fire." It's very... academic. 'There's a bookseller to the north, just outside Khabârkhad in an area called Tilmakhím, the Cross-roads. 'Here, take a few coins for the bookseller. Would you be able to get this book for me?' Background Amarêkh has asked you to go north to Tilmakhím for a new book. Objective 1 Talk to the bookseller Ephrâti in Tilmakhím Amarêkh has asked you to go north to a place called Tilmakhím, the Cross-roads. There the bookseller Ephrâti should have the book "A Smouldering Fire" for Amarêkh. Ephrâti: 'I have the book, but I don't want your coin. All day long I deal with the rats. 'It's rats this, rats that. They get in the books, my hair, they get in everything. I've tried to make the best of it. 'Ephrâti, they said, just eat the rats. Make the best of a bad situation.
