Perhaps you should take the link to Ilar to see if he can discover its origin. Background Wights stir from the cairns of the Bonevales, presenting a terrible threat to all who dwell in Dunland. Objective 1 Talk to Ilar at his camp in the Bonevales Ilar is at his camp in the Bonevales. You should bring the chain-link you found to Ilar. Ilar: 'This chain-link appears to be a piece of several larger chains that were sold recently to Trehéarn, Brenin of the Dievlig. This link seems to have undergone some dark rite to bind a fell spirit to the body of one of our ancestors.'
