Pet skill power cost, damage and (de)buffs

The damage, (de)buff rating and power cost of pet skills are determined by the level of the pet, traits, pet food and armaments.

The stats of the player do not influence the pet skill tooltips, though.

In-game tooltips reflect the current level of the player, therefore they will be inaccurate if the pet is not the same level as the player. This difference in level happens when the player's level increases, but the player does not immediately dismiss and re-acquire the pet.

• The level of the pet is determined by the level of the player at the time the pet is summoned!

Therefore, the Values table on pet skill pages should state the pet level, not the players level. The actual values can be read in-game from the effect a skill does (if there is any), or by determining the formula. If this is done with the purpose of updating the wiki, the pet should not be buffed by traits, pet food or armaments.
