Description
Mildrith is the mourning widow of former Thane Pendrad of Elthengels, she is found inside the Mead Hall of Elthengels in the Norcrofts.
Mildrith's family has a recent story filled with grief and misfortune.
Her husband was killed by an unexpected band of Orc raiders. Meanwhile, Reeve Athelward ordered his troops to defend Cliving instead of aiding Elthengels. Not only did this cause Pendrad's death. It caused Mildrith's son, Pendulf, to challenge the Reeve in a sword duel that he lost. The duel was not to the death, however Pendulf's wound became infected and he died shortly afterward. This left Mildrith alone with her only daughter named Siflád. Athelward did not see why her daughter should remain in Elthengels and sent her to the safety of Cliving with him, where he shall keep an eye on her.
Although the Reeve is no longer trusted in the Thane's eyes, she remains committed to her duty in Elthengels and she will not abandon her settlement.
