Meregyth is the daughter of Sparhafoc, Thane of Fenmarch. We first meet her near the Fenmarch Mead Hall ^{[66.5S, 57.3W]}. After receiving some troubling news, she runs off. Her father becomes concerned and requests that she be sought for and located.

Meregyth is tracked to Gris-shâtroful orc camp ^{[68.2S, 60.0W]}, rescued, and escorted to the Beaconwatch in the Eastfold where she remains for a time.
