Description
Macilnis was a knight of Gondor and a companion of Eärnur. She followed Eärnur into many dangers, even into Minas Morgul. While she and many of her friends were consigned to the Houses of Lamentation, Macilnis was freed before she could become a wraith as her king and fellow knights eventually did, taking Eärnurs sword Orthadel with her. Gandalf assumes that she brought the sword in the north, where it was reforged to Dúnachar.
