Ithilharn shards seem *much* less likely from crops than from other resource nodes. Are we even sure it's possible, or maybe the folks reporting are just mistaken (e.g. had a shard in their inventory and assumed where it came from)? In any case, it might be worth noting the relative unlikeliness of getting a shard from farming. Personally, I've planted many tens of thousands of crops and never gotten a single ithilharn shard, whilst getting many dozens from other types of resources nodes. But perhaps I've just been unlucky in that regard. (Egarthur, 12 April 2021)

Giseldah has found the drop chances of shards and other items. The drop chances for Ithilharn Shards in fields (well-tended or not) should be 0.1%, while for other craft nodes it is 1% (or 5% for 'rich' deposits). Corpses have drop chance of a bit over 2%. Sucamarto I myself have never seen an Ithilharn Shard drop from a Farming Node. Also after update 29 the drop rate of Ithilharn Shards from, Minus Morgal chests was significantly impacted as the respawn timer on Chests was increased significantly.
