This item is acquired from the boxes of spoils acquired from completing the daily Featured Instance quests of level 105 and 100-104. Without resetting these quests using  Mithril Coins, each player character can earn a maximum of 10 Long-lost Coins per day.

The Long-lost Coins can be traded with a Quartermaster (Featured Instance Rewards Vendor) for Essence recipes, slotted gear, and slotted jewellry.
