Helm's Deep - Official Soundtrack is the official soundtrack for the Helm's Deep expansion, released on November 8, 2013. It was created by Stephen DiGregorio and uploaded to his Soundcloud profile, with all tracks but the first being downloadable.

Production and Release

Little information has been released regarding the production of this soundtrack. As opposed to those released by Chance Thomas, for the Helm's Deep soundtrack Stephen DiGregorio used synthesized instruments.

The tracks from this soundtrack as well as those from Chance Thomas' Riders of Rohan were used in the Helm's Deep expansion, meaning the West Rohan area of the game. The three "Tavern" tracks (15-17) were exclusively written for the Aldburg crafting hall; they have not appeared anywhere else in the game and it is the only crafting hall with music written specifically for it.

Some tracks from this soundtrack were also used in West Gondor, the final zone for which Stephen DiGregorio created the music. Unlike for Helm's Deep, in West Gondor DiGregorio did use some small ensembles with live instruments in recording the music.

The Helm's Deep soundtrack was uploaded to DiGregorio's Soundcloud account on November 8, 2013, where it can be listened to and all but the first track can be downloaded directly from Soundcloud.
