Description
Haldend was a lord of the Éothéod, succeeding his father Théodric. He suffered great injury two years into his rule, when he attempted to ride one of the mearas. This left him unable to speak more than a few words or lift a sword. His daughter, Théodwyne, cared for him and spoke for him after his fall. When Haldend died, she had effectively become the ruler of the Éothéod and succeeded him.
