Description
Elendur (Quenya for Servant of the Elves) was son of Valandur. He ruled as the ninth King of Arnor for 125 years, a period of no significant events. He died 225 years old.
Probably he was named after Isildur's son Elendur, who was slain at the Battle of the Gladden Fields in T.A. 2.
Elendur's son Eärendur succeeded him on the throne upon his death.
When he was still prince, Elendur was sent by his father to relocate the Helcessar from Ost Forod to a more secure location, leading to the construction of Agoroth in Forochel.
