King Calmacil (Quenya for Light-sword) was the 18th King of Gondor, ruling from 1294 to 1304 of the Third Age. He was the second son of Atanatar II Alcarin and the brother of Narmacil I. He didn't succeed to the throne until he was 236 years old, and did very little of note during his short reign.
Calamacil reigned in Gondor for ten years, during which his son Minalcar continued to rule as Regent, a function he had held during Narmacil's reign. He was honored with a plaque in the Player's Tier of Minas Tirith.
