Calimehtar Minastan (Quenya for Light-warrior Tower-maker) was the 30th King of Gondor. He ruled the South-kingdom in the middle of the Third Age (1856-1936).
Calimehtar is famous for two things - in TA 1899, he routed the Wainriders, an Easterling clan that invaded his lands, and a year later, he built the White Tower in Minas Anor.
Calimehtar ruled Gondor for 80 years, and was succeeded by his son, Ondoher Manardil. He was honored with a statue and plaque on the Player's Tier of Minas Tirith.
