Arâm is a liberated Nurnhoth of Mordor found outside of the Black Gate, in the days following the Battle of the Morannon. Though freed from slavery, she is still fearful of the remaining Masters of Mordor, especially Urudanî.

She later appears on the north side of the third circle of Minas Tirith, still adjusting to her new upturn in life. ^{[64.6S, 18.2W]}
