Ossiriand

Ossiriand was a river-shorn plainsland bordering the Ered Luin. It was the only part of Beleriand to survive the cataclysm of the War of Wrath. The Elves under Gil-galad sheltered there in the beginning of the Second Age, and founded the new kingdom of Lindon, the name of Ossiriand thus passing into memory.
