Quest Text

Bestowal Dialogue 'Now that you have the materials, they must be shaped. Take the timber to the forester Ainhard south of here. He will cut the wood into usable planks.' Background The Beornings of Vegbár must keep constant watch on both the High Pass and Goblin-town, but can do neither with their buildings and walls in disrepair. Objective 1 Talk to Ainhard The forester Ainhard lives south of Vegbár. You should talk to Ainhard. If Ainhard is not at his home, he may have already headed to Vegbár. Ainhard (at his home): 'You want planks? I have no time to shape these now! Those goblins, or whatever they were, could be back at any moment! Just take the planks over there and leave me be!' or Ainhard (at Vegbár): 'You want planks? Ah... I do not have the tools with me to shape them here, but I believe there are some at my homestead. You may leave the untreated timber and take the planks. No charge, of course. I owe you my life!' Objective 2 Collect the wood planks The wood planks can be found outside Ainhard's home. You should collect the wood planks. Collected the wood planks Objective 3 Repair damaged walls (0/10) With the new planks, you can now repair some of the damaged walls in Vegbár. You should repair damaged walls in Vegbár. Repaired damaged walls (10/10) Objective 4 Talk to Skalla Skalla can be found in Vegbár, the Beorning outpost in the Wolf-denes. You should talk to Skalla. Skalla: 'Good work, <name>. Vegbár is now more prepared for the next time the goblins decide to measure their bravery against our blades and our claws.'
