Bestowal dialogue

Rumours have begun to spread of a growing concern in the northern wild reaches of Rohan, a rough but lush land called Wildermore.

The rumours are vague, but troubling also.

Harding, Aldor of the Eastemnet, grows worried for the northern reaches of his realm, and has summoned you, a trusted ally, to investigate.

Background

Harding, Aldor of the Eastemnet, is concerned by the silence on the roads to and from Wildermore, the wildest reaches of his realm in Rohan.

Objective 1

Harding has summoned you to Harwick to begin an investigation of Wildermore, the lands to the north-west of the Wold.

You should speak with Harding at the Mead Hall of Harwick.

Harding: 'Well met again, <name>. Thank you for coming to me at this strange time.

'I am concerned for my northern domain, the land of Wildermore. The trade routes there have never been so quiet before; many who venture there have not returned...
'Will you investigate for me? I hear rumours, but ... they sound more like old wives's tales to me. Nonetheless, something is surely amiss.'
