Bestowal Dialogue

'Many travellers have been attacked by wargs as of late. I have been keeping watch over these lands for quite some time, and it troubles me that the shadow grows bolder. We must be vigilant, or the shadow will consume these lands.

'I would ask that you investigate the hills to the north across the river. That is the site of the most recent attack. You will most likely find wargs. And when you do, eliminate them.

'Rumors have spread and I fear the White Hand approaches.'

Background

Duindil is concerned about the recent Warg attacks in the area.

Objective 1

  • Defeat the invading Wargs (0/6)

The site of the Warg attacks can be found to the north of Echad Terthas, across the river.

Duindil has asked you to defeat any Wargs in the area.

Defeated invading Wargs (6/6)
You obtained a Warg pelt

Objective 2

You were able to obtain a Warg's pelt. Duindil should find this useful in the investigation. Duindil can be found in Echad Terthas outside of Caras Gelebren.

Return to Duindil.

Duindil: 'This pelt. I should have known. These are no ordinary Wargs. It is as the rumours suggested. These fell beasts are a plague upon these lands. I fear it will be difficult to contain this threat if we do not act quickly.
'Take this pelt to Rhovandis in Idhobel, north-east of here. Follow the main road and cross the bridge to the north.
'She has been keeping watch in Western Eregion. And my suspicions of this new threat come from her more recent reports.
'This should prove to be of value to her. She will have more information for you.'

Objective 3

Rhovandis can be found in Idhobel, located in Western Eregion and north-east of Echad Terthas.

Duindil has asked you to deliver the Warg's pelt to Rhovandis.

Rhovandis: 'Duindil and I have been exchanging notes keeping an eye on the shadow's movement on both sides of the Glanduin. It grows, and will continue to grow until the light can no longer endure.
'I am glad to hear Duindil has made progress on his investigation of the most recent incursions. This pelt belongs to that of a Warg, but the markings are what concerns me. Allow me to examine this pelt further.'
