Bestowal Dialogue

'As we have yet to come across them in our travels up the mountainside, the hobogblin forces can only be in one place: at the end of the Father's Path, the ruins of Uzdarulzahar at the very peak. I will return to the Thing-fold and send for our reinforcements. They will have arrived at Fellgát by now. Dréri, Náth, Molkha, and Klúso will escort them. Kyrstig and I will then travel to just outside the ruins. Meet us there when you are prepared to battle Warlord Dushtalbúk.'

Background

The hobgoblin forces have not yet been found, so they must be at the very peak of the mountain. The time for battle is soon at hand.

Objective 1

  • Climb the Father's Path and meet up with Hórin by the steps leading to the ruins of Uzdarulzahar

Hórin has gathered the dwarf reinforcements and is waiting for you at the stairs to the ruins of Uzdarulzahar.

You should meet Hórin and complete 'Instance: The Warlord's Gambit'.

Hórin: 'Everyone is gathered and the reinforcements have arrived. Are you ready for battle, <name>?'
Completed: Instance: The Warlord's Gambit

Objective 2

  • Talk to Hórin at Uzdarulzahar

Hórin is waiting for you at the gate of Uzdarulzahar.

You should talk to Hórin.

Hórin: 'That was not how I expected this battle to begin, but the tide has turned in our favour! The others have already joined the fight. Find them, and join me up ahead. I will need everyone's help to defeat the elder drake! For the Zhélruka!'

Objective 3

Molkha says, "Right on time, <name>! Let's kill some hobgoblins!"
Molkha will fight at your side
Klúso says, "Bah, I had it under control! Let's go find Hórin!"
Klúso will fight at your side
Kyrstig says, "Phew, that was a big one! Thanks for the assist!"
Kyrstig will fight at your side

Objective 4

or

  • (Optional) Use the battle horn to summon the Scout Trio

Hórin needs your assistance defeating Hárkyrta the Frigid in Uzdarulzahar.

This will be a difficult fight! Use the battle horn at the gate of Uzdarulzahar to summon the Scout Trio if they have left your side.

Hárkyrta the Frigid says, "You are no match for the might of the Frost-horde, dwarf!"
Hórin says, "Alone? Aye, I am not. But we dwarves stick together! For Gundabad!"
Hárkyrta the Frigid says, "Argh! Dwarf worms! Mother will avenge my death!"
Hórin says, "Good riddance! The only good drake is a dead drake!"
Hórin says, "<name>, come with me!"

Objective 5

  • Talk to Hórin at Uzdarulzahar

The drake has been slain! You should talk to Hórin.

Use the battle horn at the gate of Uzdarulzahar to summon the Scout Trio if they have left your side.

Hórin: 'Right on time, <name>! The battle is won! Our forces can deal with the rest of these hobgoblins. It is time we returned to Fellgát.'

Objective 6

or

  • (Optional) Talk to Hórin at Uzdarulzahar to quickly travel to Fellgát

The battle has been won!

You should return to Fellgát and talk to Hórin.

Hórin: 'Come, <name>, let us return to Fellgát. I desire the warmth of a campfire and the taste of an ale-flagon!'
Hórin: 'You work cleaning up Fellgát truly paid off, my long-suffering but never-complaining friend! I am glad to have a proper camp to return to after a fierce battle.
'You fought bravely, <name>, and though the day is won, I cannot help but dread what must next be done: Hrímil Frost-heart must be defeated. Gorgar and Dushtalbúk are but pawns to the Dragon, and now fully under her control! If anything, the Orcs and hobgoblins are even more dangerous now, for they work in unison rather than tearing at each others' throats. However, our campaign in Gundabad has had no small effect, and I suspect Hrímil will now pull back her forces to protect her lair. For all her haughtiness, she must be feeling rather cornered.
'The unknown factor in all of this is Loknashra. Hrímil was unable to control her, due to whatever dark magic the Angmarim instilled in her, and she spoke of revenge. I have a feeling she will soon make some move, and we must be ready for it... whatever form it takes.
'But enough of doom and gloom! We will face those foes another day. For now, rest, and drink with me! A cheer, for <name>! For the Gabil'akkâ!'
