Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue You have found a ballista, unmanned but loaded and ready to fire. You guess that these were prepared by Gothmog's forces for use against the merrevail, but Gothmog's men were forced to retreat before this one could be fired. You decide you may as well use them to shoot merrevail and great-bats out of the sky yourself! Background Ballistae along the Circle of Madness were abandoned when Gothmog's forces retreated higher into the city. Objective 1 Fire loaded ballistae (0/7) Loaded ballistae can be found in the Circle of Madness. You should fire loaded ballistae at flying merrevail. LOADED BALLISTA "A ballista left by Gothmog's forces, ready to be fired at the invading merrevail." Fired loaded ballistae (7/7) Objective 2 Talk to Rhadrog Rhadrog is stationed inside Barad Elenath, the Star-gazers' Spire. You should talk to Rhadrog. You tell Rhadrog of the ballistae and the merrevail you shot down. Rhadrog: 'Oh ho! I did not know you were so comfortable with siegecraft, <name>. I wonder if there are any more bolts lying around. I wouldn't mind taking a few shots at them myself!'
