Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'What? Who are you? You have come to help? That is well, for we are in great need of aid, and the accursed Ox-dung will not see fit to lend it! 'The mine has been overrun by bugan. They came out of nowhere and fell upon us as we laboured. We were able to fight our way out, but not without loss. Many are wounded, many dead. 'We are in need of medicine, Duvodiad. Red clover grows in the hills near the mine, especially around Hen Turrau. Would you collect some and bring it here to me?' Background The Barnavon Mine has been infested by bugan who are terrorizing the miners. Many of the workers have been injured or slain, while the rest have been driven out of the mine. Objective 1 Collect red clover at Hen Turrau (10) Red clover can be found in the hills near the mine, particularly at Hen Turrau. Melvun has asked you to collect red clover which he can use to make medicines for the injured miners. Objective 2 Bring the red clover to Melvun at the mine Melvun is at the Barnavon Mine. You should bring the red clover you collected to Melvun. Melvun: 'Ah! Yes, these will do nicely. It will take but a moment to finish the salve, then I will have more for you to do.' Objective 3 Talk to Melvun at the mine Melvun is at the Barnavon Mine. You should speak with Melvun again to see if he has finished the salve. Melvun: 'It is done! 'Take this meillionen salve and these bandages to the wounded miners and bind their wounds, then return to me.' Objective 4 Bring the bandages and salve to the wounded miners (6) The wounded miners can be found in the camp outside the Barnavon Mine. Melvun asked you to take the salve and bandages to the wounded miners and bind their wounds. Wounded Miner: 'What wonder is this? Thank Melvun for me.' Wounded Miner: 'I do not think I would have survived if you had not come....' Wounded Miner: 'I am not sure Melvun's medicine will work...my wounds are terrible. Nevertheless, you have my thanks, Duvodiad.' Wounded Miner: 'The gratitude of the Turch-lûth goes with you.' Wounded Miner: 'I am feeling better already. Thank you.' Wounded Miner: 'You have my gratitude, Duvodiad.' Objective 5 Talk to Melvun at the mine Melvun is at the Barnavon Mine. You should speak with Melvun and let him know that you have completed his task.' Melvun: 'Thank you, <name>. I will call you Duvodiad no more.'
