Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'There have been sightings of a great Warg, ridden by a goblin who goes by the name of Nagrut. I believe this may in fact be the leader of the Warg-riders in Carreglyn. Perhaps if he can be challenged and slain, the rest of Saruman's hounds will be routed. 'Go to Naur-maudhûl and find the horn of challenge...blow it to summon forth this Nagrut, then slay him and his Warg. When you have done this, go to Amlan at his camp beneath the eaves of the Gravenwood.' Background Evidence supports Gwilum's beliefs that the Warg-riders plaguing Carreglyn are in fact servants of Saruman the White...and that his own rulers are in league with them. Objective 1 Use the horn at Naur-maudhûl to summon Nagrut Nagrut may be summoned by blowing the horn of challenge in Naur-maudhûl, north of Barnavon. Gwilum asked you to go to Naur-maudhûl and defeat the leader of the Warg-riders, Nagrut.
