Description
Oranoril was a Noldorin warrior of the Bright Company, defending Eregion under the command of Celeborn. She had command of the fortress of Eitheldir, overlooking the crossings of the Mitheithel, and fell in its defence in the War of the Elves and Sauron. She captured the banner that Sauron made of Celebrimbor's corpse and flung it and herself into the river, after the last of her warriors was defeated.
