The Fall of Nargothrond was a lesser battle in the Wars of Beleriand. It followed the Battle of Tumhalad and was a victory for Morgoth. The former kingdom of Nargothrond was decimated by the Enemy's hordes in 495 of the First Age. The City's Kings had both been killed preceding the battle, first King Finrod Felagund had fallen to Sauron's werewolves, and then King Orodreth had been killed in the Battle of Tumhalad.
