Tactics

Every now and then he creates a glowing yellow circle at the feet of a random player or creature, which inflicts  Shadowy Vulnerability upon all within its area of effect.

This effect counters his invulnerability, so he must be within the vulnerability circle to be defeated. It is recommend to all stand together very close to him so that the circle will appear around him every time.
