- This deed contributes to the Slayer of Old Anórien meta-deed.
- The best place to work on this deed is in the forest east of Crithost in Talath Anor at [55.0S, 13.2W]. Lots of Anórien Bucks, Anórien Does, Wild Anórien-boars, Ravaging Wargs, and River Turtles. Plus you'll get lots of Anórien Hides doing it this way.
- A good second place to work on this deed is in the Minas Tirith Cisterns or Stores - lots of Mindolluin Swarmers, Mindolluin Cave-lizards and Swarming City-rats. The Southern Lower Store has 13 rats that re-spawn about every 4 minutes.
- Anórien Fen-lurkers and Anduin Fen-flies don't count towards the deed.
