Effects

Using this skill summons a Volcanic Rune-stone on the ground that damages nearby enemies for 11s.

Skill Interactions

This skill consumes the effect  Essay of Fire if it is applied to the Rune-keeper, even though it has no induction component.

Trait Interactions

• The trait  Molten Rock in the Cleansing Flame trait tree increases the damage of the Runestone by up to 30% and makes the skill ground targeted at max rank.
• The set bonus  Fire Affinity in the Cleansing Flame trait tree increases the damage of this skill by 20%.

Tracery Interactions

• Rune-stone Healing & Damage increases the damage of this skill by up to 38.5%.

Armour Set Interactions

• Equipping 4 pieces of the Umbari Armour of the Hungering Inferno armour set acquired from the Depths of Mâkhda Khorbo Raid makes  Combustion spawn this Runestone underneath the enemy target. This interaction does not put the skill on cooldown.
• Equipping both pieces of the Insignia of the Shagâni Flame jewellery set acquired from the Legacy of Morgoth Instance Cluster increases the duration of this Runestone by 4 seconds.

Tactical Information

This skill is a highly potent damage skill and should be used as much as possible. Its attunement bonus is also helpful when trying to build up to use an ability like Smouldering Wrath.
